What an invoice actually costs you
Stripe Invoicing charges 0.4% of every paid invoice, uncapped, so your cost scales with your revenue. Flat pricing does not care how big your invoices are.

Pricing questions
›What counts as one PDF?
One successful render through /api/v1/invoice or /api/v1/from-stripe. Failed requests, validation calls, and watermarked playground renders never count against your plan.
›Are test renders really free?
Yes, forever. The playground and /api/preview return watermarked PDFs with no signup, no credit card, and no quota impact. Build your whole integration before paying a cent.
›What happens when I hit my monthly quota?
Requests return HTTP 429 with a clear message. Nothing silently breaks, and there are never surprise overage charges. Upgrade in the billing portal or wait for the month to roll over.
›How fast is rendering?
About half a second round trip, measured against production. There is no headless browser to boot, so there are no 15-second cold starts.
›What data do you keep?
None. Invoice data is rendered in memory and discarded; the PDF goes back in the same response. Billing runs entirely on Stripe. There is no database to breach.
›How do I cancel?
Self-serve, any time, in the Stripe billing portal below. Your key works until the end of the paid period. First 14 days: full refund, no questions.
